1. JESCO Club, Inc.

Social club for recovering alcoholics, drug addicts, and families. Membership not required to attend AA or NA meetings which are held 2-3 times daily. Visitors welcome.

2. Jewish Federation of Lane County - Jewish Family Services
|
Jewish Family Services assists the Jewish elderly, individuals and families in dealing with life transitions, and ongoing stressful situations by offering information and referral, support, advocacy, and caring assistance. Our services include home and nursing facility visits, assistance with problem resolution, help with accessing resources, and emotional support for all family members.

3. Job Corps Program
|
Federally funded residential program providing vocational training and high school education for men and women ages 16-24. An ESL program is also offered. All programs are self-paced. Students receive free medical and dental care, clothing allowance, monthly pay and help with job placement. Job Corps has 10 centers throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

4. Junction City Literacy Council

Provides tutoring for all ages from pre-school through H.S. and adults. Tutoring is available in basic reading, spelling, math, GED preparation, driver's written test, and English as a Second Language.

5. Junction City Local Aid

Provides emergency assistance for food, rent, utilities, clothing or prescription drugs. 6. Junction City Parks and Recreation Department

Regular parks and recreation programs. Will integrate people with mild disabilities. See schedule for current programs. Fees are higher for non-residents.

7. Junction City Public Library

Provides books, magazines, newspapers, videotapes, talking books, large print books, and reference service. Offers a collection of adult low reading level materials, English as a Second Language materials, and GED materials.Provides literacy referrals. Offers children's story hour, homebound program, public Internet access, adult new reader tutorial program, basic skills software, interlibrary loan service, and a computer and typewriter for public use.

8. Junction City/Triangle Lake Family Resource Network
|
Provides play group, Parent's Night Out (low cost childcare), family center, storytime, childcare referral bulletin board, day camp and summer arts program. Referrals to local services.
